Under 8s news - At today's Staining Tournament, the Under 8s Squad won through to the Semi Finals, but lost to St Annes 0-2 Read the Report
Annual General Meeting - The Club's AGM wiil be held on MOnday 14th JUly 2008 at 8pm at The Cube, Kirkham. All Managers, Coaches, Parents and Supporters are invited and encouraged to attend.
Under 6s Next Season - A lot of interest has already been shown in our Under 6 Squad for next Season. We will first require a minimum of two adults willing to take on the initial responsibility for the Squad, The Club will give full assistance, and will arrange CRB Clearance and the opportunity to take a Coaching Badge. All interest and enquiries to the Club Secretary through the "Enquiry" button.
Codes of Conduct - At the foot of this page, you will find the Club Codes of Conduct for Players and Parents. All Registered Players will have seen and signed similar Conduct Forms. Please feel free to download, if required.
Blackpool Youth League News - At the AGM this week, it was announced that the new Season will start on Sunday 31st August, with midweek fixtures to be arranged during September. The Under 11, 12 & 13 Age Group will be split A and B as before, but it is likely that the Under 14, 15 & 16 Age Group will play as one division (less than 16 teams). The first Fixtures will be published at the August League Meeting. League Registration Forms were issued and are now with our Squad Managers.
A little bit of history - I found an old scrapbook the other day which confirmed the very first League Fixture played by the Club was on Sunday 9th Sept 1973 - we lost 2-10 to YMCA. In fact, we didn't get our first point until 24th Feb 1974, and our first win was on 17th March 1974 - beating YMCA 1-0 in the Hogan Cup (we didn't win a single League Fixture in that Season).
Goalkeeping Course - From Sunday 22nd June to 20th July, Richard Whiteside plans to run a Youth Goalkeepers Course at Coronation Road, Kirkham (10am to 11.30am) If you're interested, please call Richard on 07910 305402 (only £3 per session)
AGE GROUP CHANGES - Please note that from 1st June, all Squads will be referred to according to their age as at 1st Sept 2008 - the 2008/2009 Season

Girls Football - Two coaches have stepped forward to re-start Coaching for our Under 15 girls. If you're at Secondary School and want to play football, just turn up on Wednesday nights at Coronation Road, Kirkham at 6pm
