Sportsmanship Awards - At the end of last Season, you may know that the JFC Kirkham Under 10s Squad won the Poulton Primary League's "Most Sporting Team" Award (with a score of 9.42). What we didn't know until now, was that the Under 9s Squad came top of their Sporting Table (9.10) and the Under 10s second in theirs with 9.31 Congratulations, Well Done and Thank You to all the Squads and their Supporters.
Under 6s Next Season - A lot of interest has already been shown in our Under 6 Squad for next Season. We will first require a minimum of two adults willing to take on the initial responsibility for the Squad, The Club will give full assistance, and will arrange CRB Clearance and the opportunity to take a Coaching Badge. All interest and enquiries to the Club Secretary through the "Enquiry" button.
Codes of Conduct - At the foot of this page, you will find the Club Codes of Conduct for Players and Parents. All Registered Players will have seen and signed similar Conduct Forms. Please feel free to download, if required.
A little bit of history - I found an old scrapbook the other day which confirmed the very first League Fixture played by the Club was on Sunday 9th Sept 1973 - we lost 2-10 to YMCA. In fact, we didn't get our first point until 24th Feb 1974, and our first win was on 17th March 1974 - beating YMCA 1-0 in the Hogan Cup (we didn't win a single League Fixture in that Season).
Girls Football - Two coaches have stepped forward to re-start Coaching for our Under 15 girls. If you're at Secondary School and want to play football, just turn up on Wednesday nights at Coronation Road, Kirkham at 6pm
